Don Bosco Prep scored in every inning before walking off in the bottom of
the fifth with a 11-1 win over Cliffside Park in the Bergen County Baseball Tournament. The game was halted by
the 10-run mercy rule and the win was the 21st in 25 outings for the Ironmen.
Spiro Molfetas limited the Red Raiders to four hits in posting his eighth
straight "W" without a loss. Mike Hoosier and Mike Mobbs went downtown for DBP with Hoosier launching
a three-run homer and Mobbs blasting a two-run round-tripper. Brian Callahari knocked in three runs and Jaren Matthews
picked up an RBI.
Don Bosco Prep rolled to an 8-5 win over North Hunterdon in a NJSIAA Group
III boys' lacrosse match. It was the 10th win for the Ironmen in 14 outings as goalie John Dreneen came up with
11 saves. Warren Hunson was top gun on the attack, netting four goals while Kevin Wolf scored twice and dished
off an assist. Keith Gresham and Spencer Van Shack tallied goals.
Molfetas remains unbeaten in recording seventh win

Spiros Molfetas went the distance in hurling Don Bosco Prep to a 4-2 win
over St. Joseph Regional/Montvale in an NNJIL baseball game. With the score knotted at 1-10, the Ironmen pushed
three runs across the plate in the top of the sixth to capture their 19th "W" in 22 contests. Michael
Mobbs drove in two runs while Sam Cerbo and Jaren Matthews picked up RBIs.
Earlier in the week, Chris Fineran improved to 2-0 as he scattered eight
hits in a 5-1 win over St. Mary's/Rutherford. Sam Cerbl knocked in three runs withj Chris Lioevit knocking in the
other two.
Don Bosco Prep rallied with three goals in the fourth period to squeak out
an 8-7 win over Ramapo in a boys' lacrosse match.
Callahan spins 1-hitter for Ironmen

Brian Callahan hurled a one-hitter as Don Bosco Prep blanked Paterson Kennedy
9-0 in an NNJIL baseball game. Callahan, who aided his own cause by driving in a run, boosted his record to 3-2
as the Ironmen improved to 18-3. Sam Cerbo knocked in a pair of runs with Mike Hoosler, Michael Mobbs and Ryan
Smyth driving in runs.
Earlier in the week, DBP trounced Barriner 16-6 as Callahan, John Milack
and Weiss launched homers. Milack drove in three runs with Brandon Boykin and Weiss plating two teammates apiece.
Callahan, Sam Corbo,Brian Giardino, Jeff Rickert and Smyth drove in runs.
Keith Gresham and Spencer Van Schaak scored goals but the Ironmen were thumped
12-2 by perennial state-power Mountain Lakes in a boys' lacrosse match.
