Ironmen win 10-run mercy rule Published in Northern Jersey Sports - 6/2/05 Don Bosco Prep scored in every inning before walking off in the bottom of the fifth with a 11-1 win over Cliffside Park in the Bergen County Baseball Tournament. The game was halted by the 10-run mercy rule and the win was the 21st in 25 outings for the Ironmen. Spiro Molfetas limited the Red Raiders to four hits in posting his eighth straight "W" without a loss. Mike Hoosier and Mike Mobbs went downtown for DBP with Hoosier launching a three-run homer and Mobbs blasting a two-run round-tripper. Brian Callahari knocked in three runs and Jaren Matthews picked up an RBI. Don Bosco Prep rolled to an 8-5 win over North Hunterdon in a NJSIAA Group III boys' lacrosse match. It was the 10th win for the Ironmen in 14 outings as goalie John Dreneen came up with 11 saves. Warren Hunson was top gun on the attack, netting four goals while Kevin Wolf scored twice and dished off an assist. Keith Gresham and Spencer Van Shack tallied goals.
